Celebripets get red-carpet ready, thanks to designer Meryem Birsoz, DMSB’08.

Meryem Birsoz, DMSB’08, creates haute-couture accessories. But don’t seek out her luxury products in your local boutique—her designs are exclusively for our four-legged friends.

Birsoz founded Moshiqa in 2010 to cater to fashion-forward dogs and cats. Named for Moshi, Birsoz’s pet Shih Tzu, the collection has captured the hearts of A-listers like Leo DiCaprio, Lady Gaga, and Miranda Kerr. Their pampered pups regularly sport the brand’s luxury items, ranging from custom bathrobes to a statement-making dog collar. Moshiqa’s harness ensemble even has a matching human bracelet, so a pet parent can coordinate with her furry friend.

“Two items lead the runway for Moshiqa: the matching bracelet with leash and collar—which Lady Gaga uses—and the Moshiqa travel bag, which is a show stopper,” says Biroz. “Whenever I travel with that bag, I have fans (of the bag!) crowd around me and stop to take picture of it with Moshi.”

Here’s a Moshiqa lookbook featuring some of the world’s chicest animals. Even if they’re just out for a walk, these celebripets look like they’re ready for the runway.
